Cheesy Potato Casserole

Directions:
   Combine the potatoes with the melted butter in a large bowl. Add the salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese. Stir. Pour into a greased 9x13 dish. Cover with crushed corn flakes and drizzle with more melted butter. 
     Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. 



Ingredients:

2 lbs potatoes, peeled, boiled, and chopped

4 Tb melted butter

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 C chopped onion

1 can cream of chicken soup

16 oz sour cream

2 C grated cheddar

2 C corn flakes plus melted butter

Another one of Grandma Hale's recipes (like her Parmesan Chicken Breast). Some of my family prefers substituting the potatoes for a bag of frozen hash browns. It always makes it onto our Thanksgiving table. You can try it both ways and see what you like best!
