Charleston Cheese Dip
Directions:
Place cream cheese in a bowl and using a hand mixer beat until light and creamy. Add the mayonnaise, green onions, and both shredded cheeses. Mix with a spoon or spatula. Add half the bacon and mix again (saving the rest for the top of the dip).
Put mixture in a greased baking dish (8x8) and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and top with remaining bacon and crumbled crackers.
Serve with your favorite crackers or chips.
Ingredients:
1/2 C mayonnaise
8 oz cream cheese
1 C sharp cheddar, shredded
1/2 C Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
3 green onions, sliced
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
8 crackers (I prefer ritz), crumbled
This is a recipe I got from watching Trisha's Southern Kitchen. I make it constantly and my friends and family are always requesting that I bring it to get-togethers and potlucks. I can guarantee this is a crowd pleaser.
