Caramel Rolls

Directions:
Make dough according to box directions. While the dough rises, heat the sugar, whipping cream, and 1/4 C butter in a saucepan. Heat just until melted. Pour sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
Next, roll the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll to 1/2-3/4 inch thickness. Cut into strips approximately 1" x 6". Lightly flour hands and tie each strip into knots. Lay the knots in the pan on top of the caramel mixture.
Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and invert the pan immediately onto wax paper, foil, or a platter.

Ingredients:
1 box Hot Roll Mix (plus ingredients listed on box: 1 C hot water, 2 Tbsp softened butter, & 1 egg)
1 1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 Pint heavy whipping cream
1/4 C butter

This recipe is one of my all time favorites. It was always the first thing to go at family gatherings. I always wished my Grandma Jones would make two pans of it instead of one. I make this a lot for our friends and family now. It's great to take to a brunch party or the perfect sweet finish to any meal.  Plus, it doesn't take long to make. Enjoy!
